True Tickets helps arts and entertainment venues know the people who actually attend, preserving the venue-patron relationship as tickets are delivered, shared, reshared, resold, and scanned. Our latest product update builds on that with a simple new way to help front-of-house teams recognize important ticket details at a glance.
Color-coded tickets let organizations add accent colors to individual tickets, giving staff an immediate visual cue as they check tickets, assist patrons, and direct people through the venue.
Organizations decide what each color represents based on their own needs. Accent colors can help staff recognize:
Each organization can choose the colors and applications that work best for its venue, audience, and front-of-house procedures.
Ticket colors remain visible when tickets are added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so the visual cue stays with the ticket wherever patrons access it.
Organizations can select any accent color using a hex code and apply colors based on criteria in Tessitura, including performance, section, price type, list, or constituency. Text automatically switches between light and dark based on the selected accent color to meet contrast guidelines for accessibility.
The result is a faster, more intuitive way for staff to identify important differences without stopping to read every ticket in detail.
Color-coded tickets are part of a broader integration upgrade that adds more ways to tailor the ticket experience to different events and audiences.
Custom Ticket Info Text lets organizations display relevant information at the bottom of selected tickets. Using Production Element Keywords and other criteria, teams can show seat type text, price zone information, or a completely custom note.
This provides another way to put useful information directly where patrons and staff need it.
Organizations can now set a different move-to-history timeframe for individual events instead of relying on one system-wide setting.
This added flexibility is especially useful for festivals, multi-day events, seasonal vouchers, membership cards, and other experiences that do not follow a standard performance schedule.
The new Can Reclaim sharing rule gives organizations the option to prevent an order owner from reclaiming a ticket after its recipient has accepted it.
The rule can be configured at the system, production element, price type, or constituent level. This gives organizations added flexibility for high-demand events and other situations where reclaiming an accepted ticket could be misused. Recipients can still return a ticket voluntarily when needed.
Recent updates also make the branded ticket wallet clearer and more useful for patrons:
Each improvement is designed to make ticket information easier to understand while giving organizations more flexibility in how they serve their audiences.
Color-coded tickets, Custom Ticket Info Text, event-specific history settings, and the Can Reclaim rule require an upgrade to the True Tickets integration.
Current True Tickets clients can contact support@true-tickets.com to discuss the upgrade and enable the latest features.
