iOS 26 Auto-Fill Access Codes to 3rd-party Email Apps

 

iOS 26 extended auto-fill of access codes to 3rd-party emali apps.

 

Both Gmail and Outlook detect access codes from our passwordless email and display that as an option above the keyboard, just as it does with SMS.

 

(This feature previously worked only from the native iOS Mail app which had to receive the email.  This could take a very long while, especially for 3rd-party inboxes using IMAP, which pulls on a schedule instead of pushing new email.)
