Static QR Code Setup

If you are setting up as Performances, you can do this as outlined. Most of our clients handle it this way:

  • Performance Date for the Member Card event should be the last day it is valid, or the day after last valid date

  • Content Setting of TT Perf Date/Time is set to No Date/Time

  • You would want a dedicated section for the “tickets” to pull from. This is so you can use the LTR_TT_SECTION to set what you want it to say instead of Section/Row/Seat. You would not use the same GA section you use for GA events, but a new section called “Member Card” or something that you create in TR_SECTION and use in the Member Card event.

    • In LTR_TT_SECTION

      • Add this new section

      • Hide the Row and Seat

      • Add the text to the Section Label and Section Description about your Member Card

  • For naming the card as a “location”, create a “Dummy” Location to attach the member card to.

    • Add a line to TR_THEATER

    • Send us over the ID number from TR_THEATER along with the name for the location – "Member Card", "Member ID" etc.

    • Normally this "dummy" location doesn't appear on the Location list in your wallet (accessed by clicking the 3 dots) but can if you want. Just let us know.

  • Add Content type TT Theater Override to the performance set to the name of the Member Card ID location you send to us to create

    • Note you can also create ticket text as needed for the member card

  • You can use the 4 lines of Ticket Text to create the name and info for your Member Card (Images cannot be added at this time)

  • If you are scanning this card, you would want to make sure you have the appropriate settings for the scanning set.

Here's some instructions for configuration in Tessitura:

Configure Defaults for Use of Static QR Codes

The following System Default in the T_DEFAULTS system table will allow you to configure global defaults related to the use of Static QR Codes:

  • TT DEF DISPLAY DYNAMIC QR CODE? By default, displays a secure, dynamic QR Code (Yes) or display a static QR Code (No) for all digital tickets.

    • NOTE: Setting this value to No will disable all security features that prevent this QR code from being shared or transferred to unknown entities.

    • It will also require that you customize the custom function [LFS_TT_GET_STATIC_QR_CODE] to return the Static QR Code for all Tickets delivered via True Tickets.

    • The Tessitura Integration is initially configured to display secure, dynamic QR Codes (Yes).

Use Production Element Content Types to Override Use of Static QR Codes

If you would like to override the default QR Code display configuration, add the following True Tickets–specific Production Element Content Type installed with the Tessitura Integration:

TT Should Display Dynamic Code?

Displays a secure, dynamic QR Code (Yes) or a static QR Code (No).

Scanning Static QR Codes

The "scanned" checkmark that  appears after a dynamic QR code is scanned will NOT appear when a static QR code is scanned.  Static QR codes do not allow for the tickets to be noted as "attended" in Tessitura.
