Denver, CO / Boston, MA (January 27, 2026) — Colorado Ballet, one of the Rocky Mountain region’s leading arts organizations, has partnered with True Tickets to introduce secure digital ticketing across its performances. The collaboration supports the company’s goal of delivering a more seamless, controlled ticketing experience while gaining clearer insight into its audiences to support long-term growth and stronger patron relationships.
Founded in 1961, Colorado Ballet presents world-class classical ballet and innovative dance to audiences throughout the Denver metro area. The company performs primarily at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Each season, Colorado Ballet presents a diverse mix of full-length classical ballets such as The Nutcracker, contemporary works, repertory showcases including MasterWorks, and new commissions, accompanied by live music from the Colorado Ballet Orchestra.
With 40 professional Company dancers supported by a robust Studio Company and Academy, Colorado Ballet serves more than 125,000 patrons each year through performances, education, and community engagement programs. As the organization looks to deepen relationships with its audiences, understanding who is actually attending performances and building more direct, one-to-one connections with patrons have become strategic priorities.
Beginning with the 2026 season, audiences will receive their tickets through secure digital delivery with password-less login for swift, fully accessible entry. Tickets are delivered through a branded digital ticket wallet that loads directly on patrons’ mobile devices and scans instantly at entry. Password-less login and contactless delivery improve accessibility while giving Colorado Ballet greater visibility and control across the ticketing experience. Every delivery, share, and scan is written back into the company’s CRM, providing a more accurate view of who is attending performances, not just who purchased the ticket.
“Colorado Ballet is focused on building meaningful, lasting relationships with the people who experience our work,” said Sameed Afghani, Executive Director of Colorado Ballet. “This partnership supports a more seamless and secure ticketing experience for our patrons while giving us better insight into our audience. True Tickets helps us align operational excellence with our artistic mission and long-term sustainability.”
True Tickets works with arts and cultural organizations seeking secure digital delivery, rules-based ticket sharing, and real-time audience insight. For Colorado Ballet, the technology provides a clearer understanding of its full audience, including patrons who attend through shared tickets, enabling more thoughtful engagement over time.
“Colorado Ballet was looking for a ticketing experience that matched the sophistication of their work on stage,” said Ken Lesnik, Chief Commercial Officer at True Tickets. “We’re proud to support their team with a digital solution that enhances patron access, strengthens insight into attendance, and helps them build stronger relationships with their audience.”
Colorado Ballet becomes True Tickets’ fourth partner in Colorado, reflecting continued momentum among leading arts organizations across the state.
