True Tickets and Oregon Symphony Partner to Bring Secure Digital Ticketing to Portland Audiences
PORTLAND, OR (September 3, 2025) — Oregon Symphony, one of the oldest and most respected orchestras in the United States, has partnered with True Tickets, a leading digital ticket delivery service for arts and cultural venues, to enhance its patron experience with secure, mobile-first ticketing. This new partnership aligns with the Symphony’s vision of accessibility, innovation, and deepened community engagement.
Beginning with its 2025/26 Season, Oregon Symphony will implement True Tickets’ dynamic QR code technology, mobile wallet delivery, passwordless login, and venue-controlled sharing features. This solution eliminates outdated ticketing friction, enhances patron security, and empowers the Symphony to more effectively connect with the people who actually attend performances.
By capturing every guest who receives a shared ticket and writing them directly into Tessitura, True Tickets helps venues reveal their "shadow audience"—patrons who previously attended but went unrecorded. With this data, Oregon Symphony can nurture relationships with first-time visitors, personalize outreach, and grow its base of returning ticket buyers and donors.
"Our partnership with True Tickets supports our mission to create shared moments of inspiration and connection through music," said Tanner Hanley, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Oregon Symphony. "This move not only ensures a seamless and secure entry process, it also gives us better tools to serve our audiences."
"Oregon Symphony is a pillar of cultural life in the Pacific Northwest, and we’re honored to support their next chapter of audience engagement," said Ken Lesnik, Head of Business Development at True Tickets. "By adopting secure digital delivery, they’re protecting access, gaining insight into their shadow audience, and delivering a better experience for every guest."
The new digital ticketing experience will be available to all Oregon Symphony patrons beginning in the 2025/26 season.
