Any text stored in TR_SEAT_CODE (Accessible, Obstructed View, VIP Lounge, etc.) now appears on Apple Wallet passes for smoother front-of-house operations.

Sharer can accept their own shared tickets, so patrons don’t get confused if they’re trying to accept shared tickets into the same account from which they shared them.

Even Easier Login Without a Password

Even easier Login Without a Password enables those accessing your wallet from a browser within their email app to successfully access and use the 6-digit code.

Persistent Ticket Sorting

Persistent ticket sorting, so that when users share or reclaim shared tickets, they return to the same ticket they started from.

More Improvements for Apple Wallet, including the following:

  • Present full pass data on initial download
  • Make token persistent instead of ephemeral
 
We noted that Apple Wallet improvements so far are yielding a steady downward trend in the percentage (by event date) of Apple Wallet passes that remain unregistered. This should result in fewer front-of-house issues with Apple Wallet passes.

February 2025 Product Update

Display Seat Type Ticket Text

You can now use the Ticket Text in TR_SEAT_CODE to communicate seat-level details to your patrons.

Support “Events” with No Date

When you have “non-event” performances that you want to deliver tickets for (e.g. vouchers, multi-passes), they can display without a time or date.

Configurability of the Opt-in Checkbox

You can specify the text (including links) next to the checkbox, and what actions are taken in Tessitura when the box is checked.

Constituent Creation Defaults Set by Wallet

Different branded wallets within your consortium or organization can have different defaults used for the creation of constituent records when tickets are shared or resold.

Adjustments to the Owner Goes Rule

If a Licensee must keep one ticket an event in their own wallet, any unshared tickets count (including scanned tickets and unsharable tickets).

Fixes to Apple Wallet Issues

We undertook an extensive review of the scope of the issues we’re hearing about from our clients, causes we’ve identified, fixes we’ve put in place to improve the situation, and additional improvements we’re planning to make.


December 2024 Product Update

“Remember Me” Reformatted

The icon on the “remember me” page was updated so that it no longer looks like an error.

Expire Invalid Apple Wallet Passes

If tickets associated with Apple Wallet passes are returned, assigned to another guest, or pulled back into the True Tickets digital ticket wallet, Apple Wallet passes are marked as invalid, and also moved to the “expired” section of the Apple Wallet app.

Rules-Based Resale v1.0!

We are thrilled to announce the completion of v1.0 of rules-based resale functionality. The video includes a thorough demo “soup to nuts” of both the Tessitura integration and digital ticket wallet user experience.


November 2024 Product Update

We announced the release of version 2024.11.22 of the True Tickets Tessitura integration! This release includes the features below:

October 2024 Product Update

Reduced Apple Wallet Timeouts

This will reduce cases where patrons present Apple Wallet passes with missing QR codes.

Ticket Sellers Register a Payment Account

Enabled sellers using True Tickets PatronSafeTM Ticket Resale to register a Stripe account so that they can be paid if and when a ticket sells.

Improved Performance Reliability

A significant amount of invisible work was completed to keep the True Tickets services performant, scale them to handle increased demand as our client base grows, and adapt to the demands of features we are building.


September 2024 Product Update

Improved Sorting and QR Code Display for Events with No Time

Now you have more control over how these events and tickets appear in your wallet.

Align to a Standard Event Header Layout

The new layout makes it easier for patrons to find the key event information they need, no matter where they are in the Ticket Wallet flows.

Increased Apple Wallet Logo Resolution

With this improvement, your logos appear just as crisply on Apple Wallet passes as they do on your True Tickets digital ticket wallet.

UK-specific Spelling Support

For example, the word “cancelled” is now spelled with two Ls for UK organizations.

Support for Locations Without Phone Numbers

Sometimes you don't want a phone number to appear on your locations, so now the field doesn't event display when it isn't populated.

Login Without a Password UX Upgrade

This improvement allows users who prefer to log in with a password to more easily do so and reduces invitee confusion when trying to accept tickets.


July 2024 Product Update

Hide Some Locations from Menu

Your Ticket Wallet Locations menu doesn’t have to show duplicate locations or other venues you don’t want to display.

Simplified Event-Level Content Blocks

Blocks enabling you to skip the configuration of Content Block Elements, and instead represent all the elements of your Content Block in one reference table.

More Transaction Accuracy Controls

Venue names, user names, and "True Tickets" are no longer translated by the browser into other languages.

Support Events with No Time

For all-day events or similar needs, you can now configure an event that doesn’t have a specific time to not display the Tessitura time in the Ticket Wallet.

Reinventing Ticket Resale

We continue our work to build functionality that will dramatically simplify the resale experience for your patrons while maintaining your ability to enforce your policies and collect data on actual attendees. Login Flow Hint Text helps your patrons know what to enter in the login form fields.

Apple Wallet Scanning Improvements

Since February, we’ve made improvements that have brought the failed scanning rate for Apple Wallet passes down from a high of 6.6% to 0.294%. We are continuing to look into a few remaining and infrequent issues with Apple Wallet QR codes.

Fix to Firefox’s Localization Bug

A version of Firefox on Android introduced a localization bug which cause the wallet to fail to load. We introduced a fix that falls back to a valid localization setting.

High Def Logos on High Def Screens

When your users are browsing the digital ticket wallet on high-def screens, your high-def logos appear consistently crisp.

Display Order ID on the Front of Tickets

Your customer service teams can more easily look up an order for a patron who needs help.

Now your patrons don’t have to remember or reset their password in order to access their tickets.

Ticket-level content blocks let you provide more granular messaging to your patrons based on the characteristics of their tickets (section, zone, list, etc.).

We added Price Type, Face Value, and accessible seating/obstructed view flags to the front of Apple Wallet passes.

Prevent selecting scanned tickets to share 

Patrons can no longer select tickets that are already scanned when initiating a share.

Better error experience

We replaced previously generic error messages with a user-friendly, styled page.

Enhance v16 support for Tessitura Access Control

We've incorporated improvements Tessitura made to their Access Control functionality, and retired replicated logic – leveraging updated Tessitura logic instead.

Reveal password on login form allows your patrons to confirm they are typing the right password.

Cleared failed ticket deletions

Some ticket deletion attempts by the poller were repeatedly failing. We found the issue and resolved it.


October 2023 Product Update

General Release of Apple Wallet Functionality

On October 11, 2023, we will release functionality that enables your patrons to add their tickets to Apple Wallet. Using rules you define at the system default, production element, price type, constituent, and order levels, you will be able to decide which tickets you want to allow this for.

Auto Update Customer Names

Now, whenever you update a name in Tessitura, that change will reflect automatically in your branded digital Ticket Wallet. Users may need to log out and log back in to see changes. This is already live for all clients.


September 2023 Product Update

Apple Wallet Functionality is Now in Open Beta Testing!

We were excited to announce last week that we are moving into an open beta phase for Apple Wallet. This means any client can implement the Apple Wallet beta material and help with testing and feedback.
